Background of technology development

Proteins play a crucial role in biological processes, making them key elements in understanding these phenomena. The emergence of new technologies, such as predictive AI systems, has sparked interest in advancing protein research.
While the revolutionary "mass spectrometer" has been developed over time to detect proteins, its pre-treatment requirements and reliance on large equipment pose challenges.

TN-cyclon™(improved enzyme cycling method)

Therefore, BioPhenoMA was established with the goal of creating an innovative platform that makes it easy for anyone to detect ultra-trace proteins anywhere.
Our core technology, developed by Professor Etsuro Ito and his team, combines the conventional sandwich ELISA method and the enzyme cycling method. This cutting-edge technology allows for the detection of minute amounts of proteins without the need for extensive equipment or time-consuming pre-treatment. It reached a zeptomole detection limit (10-21mol/assay), making it a champion data for protein detection.

By providing this innovative technology to the market, BioPhenoMA aims to promote the discovery of new drugs and therapeutic targets, elucidate drug action mechanisms, streamline drug development, and realize personalized medicine. We are dedicated to advancing the biomedical field through our contributions.
