Etsuro Ito
He is one of the inventors of the core technology, the improved enzyme cycling method.
After graduating from Waseda University (majoring in physics and applied physics, with a PhD in science), he served as a visiting fellow at the NIH (National Institutes of Health), an assistant professor at Hokkaido University, and a professor at Tokushima Bunri University, before assuming his current position as a professor at the Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences, Waseda University.

Makoto Mitamura
He has consistently been involved in the introduction of new technologies as an expert in the life sciences field. After working in medical device development and marketing, he gained experience in clinical development, licensing, and corporate planning at a drug discovery bio venture. He then worked in the diagnostics field, developing business for imaging diagnostics and in vitro diagnostic pharmaceuticals, and serving as commercial manager (domestic business manager).
He was also involved in many social activities and contributed to the establishment and internationalization of the Japan Marrow Donor Bank (former director).
Received the Outstanding Leadership Award (2023) sponsored by Health2.0 and selected as one of the world's 100 leaders in the medical field.

Daisuke Niwa
He has experience in research and development and commercialization in the fields of clinical testing, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, etc., and has strengths in the healthcare field. After completing his doctoral studies at Waseda University Graduate School, he worked as an assistant and lecturer at the Waseda University Integrated Research Institute for Advanced Science and Healthcare, ROHM Co., Ltd., and Teijin Pharma Co., Ltd., before becoming a partner at Waseda University Ventures Co., Ltd. in 2022. He currently serves as a director and auditor for several healthcare and other companies.

Hatsuki Shiga
He is a reagent scientist with experience in national projects and is knowledgeable about methods for improving enzyme cycling.
After graduating from Hokkaido University Graduate School (Division of Science, Department of Biological Sciences) with a PhD in Science, he worked as a contract researcher and special researcher for JBIC (Japan Bioindustry Informatics Consortium), an assistant professor at Fukushima Medical University, and a special researcher for JBIC before becoming Chief Scientist of BioPhenoMA.

Noriko Yamamoto
Pharmacists with a wide range of work experience
After working at a dispensing pharmacy, a pharmaceutical/medical device agency, and overseeing cosmetics/quasi-drugs, he joined BiophenoMA. He is currently furthering his expertise by utilizing the wide range of experience he has gained up to that point.
